New Drum Circle Meetup

Atheists United is proud to announce the launch of a weekly African drum circle class as its newest meetup.

Organizers describe the event as:

Cohosted by Atheists United and Smart Recovery--We are excited to announce this series of drum circle classes taught by Master Drummer, Gerald C. Rivers in the backyard of Heretic House!

• Have fun while learning the rhythms that will allow you to play in drum circles anywhere, anytime

• Learn the correct way to play this powerful instrument

• You will be introduced to the history of the instrument and its therapeutic use

• Includes end of class DRUM CIRCLE graduation and certificate! Be welcomed into the drumming community! Drums will be provided.

This class is taught by Master Drummer Gerald C. Rivers who for over 20 years had lead drum circles across the US and teaches African Djembe Drumming to children and adults of all ages.

$25 per class - To avoid contact, please prepay if possible via PayPal at messagemediagroup@yahoo.com. This is a social distance event. Hand sanitizer will be provided, and masks are required. Cash or checks will be accepted for those not able to prepay.

The group meets every Thursday at 7pm, outdoors and socially distanced, at Heretic House in Echo Park.
